Checkasalon is a new directory aiming to regulate & monitor beauty  & aesthetic treatments covering the UK. New members are added daily after our stringent vetting system therefore building our directory daily. We approach salons in your area & add them to our directory if they are of our standards, safe, qualified & insured. If they decline, there’s normally a reason & would not pass our vetting system.

All members are interviewed & ID checks are carried out. This guarantees members are qualified & insured matching with their photo identification. All results are published on members home pages within our directory to deter rogue therapists that aren’t up to the Checkasalon standards.

Our strict vetting system consists of –

Accredited Qualifications – backed by beauty governing boards.

Insurance Certificate – Up to date & ID checked.

ID Checks- Photo Identification.

References – Up to 4 clients references are needed to become a member, which will be validated.

Licenses – Health & Safety & Clinical Waste for needle work but be on site to prevent cross contamination of blood borne viruses.

We can only assure clients on an information basis that our members are up to our standards. All checks are done to protect & regulate each treatment given by our members.

Yes, in the event that a treatment is putting a clients health, safety & wellbeing at risk, membership will be suspended.

Yes, Checkasalon believe that feedback from clients is invaluable. This is the best way of star rating our members, which can be done privately on line.
