About the Company
Nicole & Jo's Beauty is a homebased business in the heart of Welwyn Garden City.
We are a daughter and mother team. Nicole is a Level 3 and Jo is a Level 4 therapist.
We started our training back in late 2016 with a local academy. Nicole decided to train in massage, whilst Jo chose to train in nail technology. During the next few months we both completed some short courses in waxing and gel polish in order to add to our treatment portfolio.
Initially "doing beauty" was going to be a bit of a hobby, just something to do in our spare time to earn a few extra pennies....however, the more courses we did, the more we had a passion and enthusiasm for what we were learning and by the summer of 2017, Nicole & Jo's Beauty had been born..... all we needed now was a dedicated space.
After much discussion, we decided to convert the playroom into a salon and within a couple of weeks, we had a usable space to begin our journey.
We have just added a 2nd treatment room, to enable us to perform treatments at the same time. It's a lovely space and a much needed addition as we continue to grow.
Being a home based salon, gives us the opportunity to offer a fabulous service, without the high street prices. We are available from 9am - 9pm, 7 days a week. We are licensed to perform electrolysis treatments and are fully insured for all the treatments we perform.
As part of our commitment to customer satisfaction, we make sure that our services are on par with current industry standards. We regularly attend training courses and workshops to keep our skills fresh and up to date, as the beauty industry is forever evolving.
